Mark your calendars for this fun, FREE family event:  Friday, May 18^th, 5:00-dark.  What better way to celebrate another great year than with live music and yummy food, and everyone will want to participate in the relay games!  Save the date!

Registration packets are now available in the office for the enrollment of students who will be NEW to Magnolia in the fall.

STAR testing for all 2^nd – 5^th grade students will take place May 7 – May 18.   Make sure you do not schedule any appointments before noon during this time.  Your child may miss an important part of the test.  Don’t be late to school.  Late arrivals may not enter the classroom after testing begins.  Thanks for your assistance.

The 2010-2011 School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is available for Magnolia Elementary School. The state's education officials measure our performance using student test scores from grades 2 though 5. They combine standardized test results and measure progress year to year to calculate our Academic Performance Index.

We would love you to volunteer at Magnolia, but don’t forget that you must do the following:

• Complete a Volunteer Application (available in the office)
• Provide a copy of your current TB test (within the last 4 years)
• Provide a copy of your driver’s license

These steps must be completed every year, even if you have volunteered in the past.  We do not keep records, including TB tests, from year to year.  We start over each year.  Please contact the office if you have any questions. Thank you!
